Whatever or however you want to categorize the band Boris - metal, drone, psychedelia, minimal, the one thing for sure is they the are not to be missed when they tour through your town. Drummer Atsuo, guitarist/bassist Takeshi, and guitarist/keyboardist Wata make up the trio from Japan that has recorded and released over 20 studio records. They have an extensive collection of BrandNewNoise instruments and audio recorders and have used then in the past on their records.
So to say it's an honor to work with them on a BrandNewNoise collaboration is an understatement. The band came through in Dallas in 2023, playing just down the street at the Granada Theater on lower Greenville, less than a half mile for the shop. They stopped in to play and we discussed a signature series. In honor of their 1998 release Amplifier Worship, we have release the new 2024 twin frog limited edition.
The Boris x BrandNewNoise collaboration is exclusively available at Boris live shows and here at BrandNewNoise. All units are hand signed, hand screen printed, and all come with a special message from Wata. For those who don't know, Wata has been named by Rolling Stone magazine a top 100 guitar player of all time.
